Does Lionel Messi have autism or aspergers?
Lionel Messi is an Argentine soccer player who plays for the Spanish Club FC Barcelona and the Argentina National Team. His talent was apparent at a young age, when his team, Newell’s Old Boys, only lost one match in four years. At age 11, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. He moved to Barcelona, where the clubs youth academy paid for his treatments. In 2007, he established the Leo Messi Foundation to support education and health care for vulnerable children. There is no evidence that he is on the autism spectrum.
