Luke Schroeder is the son of actor Ricky Schroeder, best known for his roles on the television show Silver Spoons, and later, NYPD Blue. In 2011, Luke starred in the movie A Mile in His Shoes opposite Dean Cain, playing a young baseball player with Aspergers Syndrome. His character, who has an amazing throwing arm, is discovered by coach Arthur Murphy (Cain). When asked about his character, Schroeder says, “Mickey proves to be extremely focused, smart, and talented beyond his years. There is no evidence that Luke Schroeder is on the autism spectrum.
