Is J.K. Rowling autistic

Does jk rowling have aspergers?

J.K Rowling is the author of the internationally-popular Harry Potter series.  The books were made into a series of movies starring Daniel Radcliffe as the title character.  She wrote her first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, after her marriage ended.  She was a struggling single mother living on welfare when the book sold for the equivalent of $4,000.  She is now one of the wealthiest women in the United Kingdom.  Her latest book is The Casual Vacancy.  Though she is known for her introverted personality, there is no evidence that she is on the autism spectrum.

  1. I disagree. I think she is very autist. Please correct this. This can be seen on her Twitter every week, when she tries to stay relevant by jumping on controversies and making false accusations. Autist through and through.

    1. I honestly cannot believe you would insult someone and then use they-must-be-autistic as an excuse. That insults all autistic people.
As someone who is autistic, I find your narrow definition of autism insulting and base. Autism and Asperger’s are complex and are part of a wide spectrum that includes many traits and behaviors, none of which are trying “to stay relevant.” People need a number of traits along with significant delays in social development just to receive a diagnosis of Asperger’s, so basing your assessment on one trait and ignoring all others, and insulting someone as you do, is bigoted. You are saying that an autistic person is just someone who is obsessed with staying relevant on social media and will lie in order to do so. You are saying that, “She does something bad, therefore she is so totally autistic.” While Autistic people are generally passionate about a few subjects and may even feel the need to advocate, advocacy is not something limited to someone on the spectrum… nor is it a negative thing. And people with Autism are far less likely to spew lies than our neurotypical peers due to a rigid adherence to absolute morality.
So… no. Autistic people are not delusional jerks who lie and cheat just so people will like us. Autistic people are not bad people. And no, you can’t say JK Rowling is autistic just because you don’t like her and you don’t understand autistic people.
PS: Your username makes no sense, but maybe I’m just taking it too literally because I’m autistic.

      1. It is YOU who understand that…not what s/he says…
Ex : S/he NEVER says that austist people are “jerk” or “bad”.

I dont know what s/he means beacause they are not exemple…:-(

But s/he is responsable about what s/he says not about what you understand…
