People who act just plain weird when they are in public or as characters in a show get the label of autism and most likely Asperger’s. Zach Galifinakis is an actor who has played some very strange characters, but the actor himself does not seem to be on the autism register. His character in “Bachelor Party” and other roles may seem a bit extreme, but this would lead one to think about the opposite of autism. He may be a bit manic though. This seems more the case than that he could be autistic. So, no he is probably not autistic.
Part of me thinks that the guys he acts with, known as Tim & Eric may be autistic in some ways. Their comedy is odd and different and kind of out of this world. I’m not saying they’re out of this world because they’re autistic or anything, it’s just that they’re so different from others and they seem to be quite smart for the dumb comedy they do. Anyways, Zach Galifianakis plays the weird in many of his movies and TV shows, but in real life he’s nothing like his character, well in some ways he is.
Probably the characters are autitiscs. Like understanding all without sarcasm and acting straight to different rules. And seems the authors of the scripts are thinking in reinforce this extremist way of seeing autistics (aspergers), but they really make it too extreme at the point we cray of laugh even being autistics too LMFO!
In 2006 stand up – he actually makes a bit about the guy in front ruining his career before it begins because he has the body language like an optometrist with squinty eyes.
