Does Roy Cropper have autism
People relate those who are socially awkward and have above average intelligence as being mildly autistic much of the time. If someone has abilities that put them in the savant category they may be autistic, but it is not a certainty. Roy Cropper is a character in a British soap opera called “Coronation Street”. It is one of the longest running and most popular shows on BBC and Cropper is one of its most well know characters. The actor who plays Cropper, David Neilson, says that he plays Roy as having Asperger’s syndrome. He was intrigued by this mild form of autism and wanted to add it to the character’s trait list.
