I love Robert Pattinson. The dreamy vampire in the “Twilight” series of movies is dark-eyed and mysterious. He is also quiet and reclusive in his real life. But that does not mean that he has any ties to autism. People with autism are often seen as eccentric and introverted. They have a difficult time understanding emotion and many so diagnosed will often shun people. Pattinson does not fawn in the limelight; he seems to prefer his own space. Does this make him autistic? Far from making him seem autistic, it makes him seem like an average joe. Suggesting he may be autistic sounds petty and misconstrues his wished for a normal life.
