Michael Schofield is a fictional character played by Wentworth Miller in the Fox television series Prison Break. He stages a bank robbery in order to get sent to prison, where his older brother, Lincoln, is on death row. He creates a plan to help Lincoln escape. Through the course of the show, it is revealed that Michael has a condition known as low latent inhibition, in which he sees the world as pieces, rather than objects. This condition allows him to create elaborate plans and make rapid decisions, which aids him in his quest to free his brother. He is not autistic.
