Since it would be a challenge to even assess whether or not a cat has autism, it’s probably safe to say that cats don’t have autism. However, many cats display characteristics that could be considered autistic-like. But just because a cat likes to bat at a ball for hours or doesn’t initiate social contact, is that really grounds for thinking he’s autistic?
