Some people have very poor social skills. The reasons for this can be numerous, but currently it always seems to lead people to assume that the individual has Asperger’s Syndrome or that they are somewhere on the autism scale. Though it is not always true (see speculation regarding Sherlock Holmes), in the case of Saga, a character on the popular crime drama “The Bridge”, it is apparently true. The detective, the shows lead, shows very poor social skills, but because of her brilliance she is very effective. It could be true seeing that people who have Asperger’s Syndrome are often smart and perceptive.
