There is much debate regarding Grimace, one of the characters on Family Guy. Keep in mind that some of the scenes have been cut or censored. In one scene, Peter states that the Grimace is Ronald McDonald’s autistic friend. According to one source, the original script referred to Grimace as a retarded friend. Autistic or retarded, certainly Grimace has a disability of some sort.
