Andrew Johns is a retired Rugby player for the Newcastle Knights. In 2008, he was voted best player of the past 30 years in Rugby League Football. He won the Golden Boot Award and the Daily M Medal for best player three times. He retired in 2007 due to a bulging disc in his neck, and went on to become a kicking coach for several teams, including Bulldogs, Eels and Knights. He and his brother Matthew are on the Channel 9 commentary team. There is no evidence to suggest that Andrew Johns is on the autism spectrum.
