Video games have become a passion in the United States and around the world. One of the most popular is a game from Japan called Pokémon. The creator, Satoshi Tajiri, has gained worldwide fame for both the game and the cartoon that follow the antics of a group of real game players. He is also famous for having admitted that he has a mild form of autism. He has worked in his native country and places around the world to raise awareness of the syndrome and his advocacy has given a voice to other members of that fraternity. Asperger’s is the name commonly given to the mild form of autism that Mr. Tajiri suffers from and he is not shy advocating for research and development.
