Does Hugh Dancy have aspergers?
Hugh Dancy is a British actor who stars in the television show Hannibal. He’s also appeared in several movies, including Confessions of a Shopaholic and Adam, in which he portrayed a young man with Asperger’s Syndrome.
Hugh did an incredible job playing Adam, but he does not appear to be autistic in real-life. In an interview about Adam, he says, “Because of the nature of Adam’s condition, it specifically denied me most of the things you rely on as an actor, communication, empathy and reaction.” He also spoke of how difficult it was to act without making eye contact.
